Whether you already drum or have never held a pair of sticks - this is no problem. All lessons are taught on a 1 to 1 basis and are structured around the individual need of each student. You will learn everything to do with the wonderful world of drumming from holding a stick to playing along to your favourie song or creating your own! You can expect to learn how to hit the drums, technique, rudiments, grooves, and how to read & write drum notation. All styles of music are taught with no pressure to take grades. I create a relaxed environment, making lessons fun and creative. However, if you want to pursue grades, I teach both Rockschool and Trinity College programmes. All lessons are available to students from 6 years old to mature adults.
It is a requirement that all students wear earplugs/headphones while having lessons. This is for their own protection.
All lessons are 1 hour and cost £20. I travel to student's homes to teach or students can come to me if they do not own a drum kit. Travel further than a 5 mile radius will incur extra costs for petrol and travelling time.
Please note all cancelleations with less than 24 hours notice are chargeable.
